In partnerships with GDG, Moonshot Lab is experimenting on the Google Cardboard SDK technology and adapting it for promoting Greek Destinations and tourist attractions.
Aim of the project is being able to communicate with a wider range of users and letting them experience a three-dimensional environment, with 3D sound, in which they feel like they are on spot! Greek Destinations it will be used for promoting tourism in Greece, while cutting long-term costs. After a study conducted with major organizations and operators, it came out that a big amount of expenditures, when promoting a destinations, is identified in printed material that eventually it is thrown away. With this project clients will be able to cut printing promotional material costs, and drastically increase awareness of their digital promotional campaings, while making users/visitors more satisfied and aligning their brands/destinations to ultimate technology.
The project is under severe development and it uses latest VR technologies, webGL, Unity and pro photography, for accomplishing its goals.
